Android : How to Install a Custom ROM in Android Phone ?

Custom ROMs are alternative versions of the Android operating system that provide different features and user experiences. Installing a custom ROM requires an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery tool like TWRP. Here’s a basic guide:

  1. Back up your device data.
  2. Download the custom ROM you want to install and the appropriate Google Apps package if the ROM doesn’t include them.
  3. Transfer these files to your device’s storage.
  4. Reboot your device into recovery mode.
  5. In the recovery tool, select “Wipe” and then “Advanced Wipe”. Select “Dalvik / ART Cache”, “System”, “Data”, and “Cache”. Then swipe to wipe.
  6. Select “Install”, then navigate to the location where you stored your ROM and Google Apps package.
  7. Install the ROM, then the Google Apps package.
  8. Wipe cache and Dalvik cache again, then reboot.
