The anticipated debut of Samsung’s new high-end smartphone trio—the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra—is generating buzz with details on potential pricing making rounds on the internet. Samsung is set to host its premier Galaxy Unpacked event of the new year on January 17, where the theme ‘Galaxy AI is coming’ hints at the introduction of the Galaxy S24 smartphone series. The price tags for these devices have been reportedly leaked for the South Korean market, and now, the expected costs for the Italian market have emerged.
According to tech insider Roland Quandt’s latest insights shared on X (the platform previously known as Twitter), the base Galaxy S24 model with 128GB storage is rumored to hit the market at EUR 899 (approx. Rs. 81,900), and the 256GB variant may see a price of EUR 959 (approx. Rs. 87,400). The larger Galaxy S24+ is anticipated to command a price of EUR 1,149 (approx. Rs. 1,04,700) for the 256GB model, climbing to EUR 1,269 (approx. Rs. 1,15,600) for the 512GB option.
For those eyeing the premium Galaxy S24 Ultra, the speculation suggests a price of EUR 1,449 (approx. Rs. 1,32,100) for the 256GB storage model, and EUR 1,569 (approx. Rs. 1,43,000) for the version with 512GB of space. A deluxe 1TB storage configuration might also be available, potentially priced at EUR 1,809 (approx. Rs. 1,64,900), as per Quandt’s information.
Earlier reports this week also hinted at the possible pricing structure for the Galaxy S24 series. The standard Galaxy S24 model with 256GB storage is expected to be priced at KRW 1,155,000 (approx. Rs. 73,000), with the 512GB variant possibly costing KRW 1,298,000 (approx. Rs. 82,000). The Galaxy S24+ models with 256GB and 512GB storage could be launched at KRW 1,353,000 (approx. Rs. 86,000) and KRW 1,496,000 (approx. Rs. 95,000), respectively.
The flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra might come with a price tag of KRW 1,698,400 (approx. Rs. 1,08,000) for the 256GB variant and KRW 1,841,400 (approx. Rs. 1,17,100) for the 512GB model. Nevertheless, with official announcements yet to come, these figures remain in the realm of speculation.
