given below for direct recruitment to the following post of Junior Engineer (Trainee) under E&M cadre against category-wise vacancies under Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) and its DISCOMS, TRANSCO as detailed below. Submission of application through any other mode is not acceptable.

Pay Scale : As per 7th Pay commission  Pay Matrix level-7; Rs. 44,900/- (minimum level in revised pay matrix) Dearness and other allowances admissible as per rules of UPPCL.

Essential Eligibility Qualification :

(A) Candidates must produce a certificate from the head of the institution from which he passed out or from a gazzated officer in Uttar Pradesh that he can read and write Hindi in the Devnagri Script with ease, provided that such a certificate will not be nessessary in the case of a candidate who passed the High School or an equivalent examination with Hindi or who has obtained a degree, diploma or Certificate of any Hindi examination from an institution recognized by state Government.

(B) For Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electrical

A candidate must have passed

i)  Three years Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering awarded by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government"

OR

ii)  Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt, c&lndia 

OR

iii)  Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by an Act of the Central/State legislature. s

Note: Diploma received through Distance Learning Education will ncjt be eligible.

(C) For Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electronics / Tele Communication

A candidate must have passed

 Three years Diploma examination in Electronics / Tele Communication Engineering awarded by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government."

OR

iv)  Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electronics fTele Communication Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt, of India 

OR

v)  Diploma Examination in Electronics /Tele Communication Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by an Act of the Central/State legislature.

(A) Age : Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2020.

(B) Relaxation in upper age limit:

(I) Apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act. 1961- Actual period, subject to maximum 24 months.

(II)  SC, ST & OBC (NCL)  of Uttar Pradesh domicile- 5 years

(III) Ex-Servicemen who had served a minimum of 6 years in Armed Forces of lndia-(Completed service years* Three years)- Maximum 15 years.

(IV) Dependents of freedom fighters- 5 years.

(V) Physically Handicapped (OA/OL/PB/PD only)-15 years.

Online applications are invited from interested candidates who have passed ITI exam from UP or MP based institutes only and meeting the following qualifications and other parameters for engagement as trade apprentices under The Apprenticeship Act 1961 read in conjunction with The Apprenticeship Rules 1992(amended till date) and The Apprentices (Amendment) Act 2014 in the trades mentioned below:

Prescribed Qualification/Eligibility Criteria:
1. For Welder (Gas& Elect)-: 8 h & ITI Passed in Welder trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized UP or MP based Institute only.
2. For Electrician-:10th & ITI Passed in Electrician Trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized UP or MP based Institute only.
3. For Fitter-: 10th & ITI Passed in Fitter Trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized UP or MP based Institute only.
4 For Motor Mechanic-:10th & ITI Passed in Motor Mechanic Trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized UP or MP based Institute only.
For All Trades-: The qualification prescribed shall be from NCVT/SCVT recognized UP or MP based Institute only as a full time, regular course in relevant trade with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General and OBC candidates and 45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates against reserved positions.
Cutoff Date-: The candidate must possess the prescribed qualification, age etc. as on 31.12.2019.
