Tezpur University recruiting for the Technical Officers-II posts. Interested persons can apply for Tezpur University Recruitment 2020 through the prescribed application format on or before 15 October 2020.

The Mission Directorate, JJM, Assam intends to engage 84 (Eightyfour) Technical Officers- II in various districts of the State of Assam. The selection will be done through partnership with Tezpur University. However, Tezpur University has no role in issuance of appointment letters and other employment related matters. 

Essential Qualifications a. 3 - YEAR Full-time Diploma in CIVIL ENGINEERING from a recognized University/Institution with minimum 55% marks. b. At least 1 year of experience in rural development works related to supervision in construction. c. Age not more than 35 years as on 1st January 2020

The objective of this position is to support the State level Mission

  1. Management Unit (SMMU), Mission Directorate JJM by ensuring:
  2. In village water supply (PWS) infrastructure for tap water connection to every household;
  3. Reliable drinking water source development/augmentation of existing sources;
  4. Transfer of water (multi-village scheme; where quantity& quality issues are there in the local water sources);
  5. Technological intervention for treatment to make water portable(where water quality is an issue, but quantity is sufficient);
  6. Retrofitting of completed and ongoing piped water supply schemes to provide FHTC and raise the service level;
  7. Grey water management;
  8. Capacity building of various stakeholders and support activities to facilitate the implementation.

The total number of vacancies for the position of Technical officerII is 84 ( Eighty Four), i.e. 2 (Two) Technical officers-II per division.
