Tezpur University recruiting for the Technical Officers-II posts. Interested persons can apply for Tezpur University Recruitment 2020 through the prescribed application format on or before 15 October 2020.

The Mission Directorate, JJM, Assam intends to engage 84 (Eightyfour) Technical Officers- II in various districts of the State of Assam. The selection will be done through partnership with Tezpur University. However, Tezpur University has no role in issuance of appointment letters and other employment related matters.

The objective of this position is to support the State level Mission

  1. Management Unit (SMMU), Mission Directorate JJM by ensuring:

  3. Reliable drinking water source development/augmentation of existing sources;
  4. Transfer of water (multi-village scheme; where quantity& quality issues are there in the local water sources);
  5. Technological intervention for treatment to make water portable(where water quality is an issue, but quantity is sufficient);
  6. Retrofitting of completed and ongoing piped water supply schemes to provide FHTC and raise the service level;
  7. Grey water management;
  8. Capacity building of various stakeholders and support activities to facilitate the implementation.

Research Centre Imarat (RCI) is a premier laboratory of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO spearheading R&D in a wide range of Avionics Systems for diversified defence and aerospace applications. 2. The No of apprentices mentioned above are only indicative and may change at a later stage depending on the final assessment of eligible applications received. Terms & Conditions for Selection of Apprentices:1. For the above mentioned apprentices, reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories will be applicable as per provision of Apprentice Act 1961, Apprentice Rules, 1992 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2015.

1. Before applying, candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that they have fulfilled eligibility criteria and other norms of the post/ Apprenticeship stated in the advertisement in all respects.

2. All qualifications should be from Indian institutes recognized by Appropriate Statutory Authority.

3. Candidates for Trade Apprentices should have registered at www.apprenticeshipindia.org. Norwegistered candidates will be rejected.

4. Application registered on-line on www.apprenticeshipindia.org ONLY will be accepted.

5. Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination (ITI) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply

6. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination (ITI) in the year 2018, 2019 and 2020 are ONLY eligible.

7. The tenure of the Apprenticeship for above Trades would be ONE YEAR, commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.

8. A physical fitness certificate from a Civil Assistant Surgeon should be produced by the selected candidate at the time of joining.

9. RCI being highly protected establishment, Selected candidates have to submit the following certificates at the time of joining:

a. Submission of police verification certificate from their local police station; and 

b. Submission of conduct/character certificate from head of previous educational institute OR from a Group 'A' Gazetted officer

10. Verification of credentials shall be done and in case of any deviation from or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.

11. Suppression of facts will also lead to disqualification, at any stage of the selection process or during the training period.

12. Candidates who have already undergone or who are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 are not eligible to apply 

13. No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants called for any stage of the selection process.

14. The apprentices will NOT be provided any hostel accommodation/quarter/transport by the establishment at any stage of the selection process, and also during the training period. Also no allowances will be admissible except the consolidated stipend.

15. Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons which are beyond their control. Before commencement of the training, the candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship. Those who absent themselves are liable to refund the whole cost of their training as well as the amount received as stipend as determined by the Central Apprenticeship Advisor.

16. Offer of apprenticeship does not confer on the candidates, any right for absorption in DRDO.

17. Any canvassing or personal follow up with an intention of inducting the process of selection of apprentice by and on behalf of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.

18. RCI reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof.

19. RCI reserves the right to cancel/restnct/enlarge/modify the selection process, if need arises, without assigning any reason.

20. In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction will be at Hyderabad. 

21. Every apprentice who had completed the period of training will have to undergo a test to be conducted by the National Council for Training in vocational trade to determine his/her proficiency in the designated trade. Only on passing the test, a certificate of Proficiency in the trade would be issued by the National Council.

22. The engagement and training are strictly in compliance with the provision of the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and there is no obligation for employment of Apprentices on completion of their training.

a) Eligible candidates have to register in the ONLINE web portal of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) i.e. www.apprenticeshipindia.org and get the Registration number. They have to update their profile by uploading SSC, ID proof. Qualification, Category (if applicable), PWD documents (if applicable) and Aadhar Number.

b) In the same portal candidates have to apply for apprenticeship opportunity in Research Centre Imarat.

c) Application registered on-line on www.apprenticeshipindia.org ONLY will be accepted.

How to apply
(a) Before applying online application for the post, candidate must mandatorily register themselves in ONE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR).
(b) Candidates are required to apply online using the website www.appsc.eov.in. Detail instructions for One Time Registration (OTR) and Online Application are available on the above mentioned website. The applicants are advised to submit only single application; however, if due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher Registration Ids (RID) is complete in all respect like applicants details, Photograph, signature, Photo ID, fee etc. The applicants with higher RID shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.
(c) Those candidates who have already registered in OTR need not register again and they can directly log in to fill up online form using their User ID and Password.

The candidates who have already appeared in final examination of the qualifying Degree and awaiting for result shall also be eligible to apply. However, such final year candidates shall have to upload Bonafide certificate to prove his/her being in a final year. The candidates who are declares to have qualified by the Commission in Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test will have to appear in the written competitive examination, however, candidates will have to produce original certificate/marksheets of passing their degree examination issued by the Assistant Registrar/ Registrar /Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor 0f the concerned university will only be accepted by the Commission on or before the date of Interview/Viva-voce.Without the original certificate/marksheet they shall not be allowed to appear in the Viva-voce.

Age limit : A candidate must not be less than 21 years and above 26 years.Candidate must possess the following minimum height and chest girth,

Method of selection : The eligible candidates will have to undergo Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test before appearing in written examination as given at SI.No.4(a&b) and 5(a to e) above And, if the no. of candidates who qualify for the written examination is huge, then the Commission will adopt Recruitment Test (Objective Type) on General Knowledge paper before the conduct of written examination.

The written examination comprised of the following subjects followed by a Medical Test at TRIHMS, Naharlagun (A.P) and Viva-voce to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at Itanagar on the basis of which selection will be finalized.

(a) General English : 100 marks
(b) General Knowledge : 100 marks
(c) Elementary mathematics (Class-X standard) : 100 marks
(d) Viva-voce : 40 marks.
